The 20th edition of the City of Venice Backgammon tournament will be played from November 28th to the 30th. Venice is the last stop of the prestigious 2008 European Backgammon Tour. This exclusive location has been announced as ca’ vendramin calergi, the historical 1500 palace on the gran canal, which hosts the glamorous casino of venice.

The schedule will be as follows:

Friday, 28th november: Registrations, Playoff circuito nazionale backgammon, Kick off, Double tournament starts, Public draw, Tournaments start.

Saturday, 29th november: Progressive consolation, Tournament continues, Superjackpot, “Swinging the Night” tournament.

Sunday, 30th november: Last chance, Finals, Prize-giving & cocktails.
